If someone had told me five years ago that I'd be running an online business selling house plans, hand-painted hats, and digital resources, I would have laughed. But life has a funny way of leading us exactly where we need to be.

From New Orleans to Northwest Arkansas: 40 Years of Design

For four decades, I called the New Orleans area home, spending my days designing custom house plans for builders and families throughout the South Mississippi/South Louisiana area. There's something magical about taking someone's dream and translating it into blueprints – creating the foundation for memories that will last generations. Every breakfast nook, every master suite, every front porch was designed with real families in mind.

When we moved to beautiful Northwest Arkansas, I saw an opportunity to share my designs with a wider audience. Those 40 years of experience became the foundation for my online stock house plans – professional blueprints that anyone, anywhere could use to build their dream home--at an affordable price.

When Art Calls, You Answer

But here's the thing about creativity – it doesn't stay in one lane. I've always been an artist at heart, and a few years ago, I found myself reaching for paintbrushes and plain ball caps. What started as a creative outlet turned into a thriving part of my business. Now my hand-painted caps and sun hats are in shops and on heads across the country, each one a tiny canvas of wearable art.

The Plot Twist That Changed Everything

Life threw us a curveball in 2024. My husband was forced into early retirement without the safety net we'd planned for. Instead of panicking, I did what I've always done – I learned, adapted, and created.

I dove headfirst into digital marketing, consuming every course, video, and resource I could find. The learning curve was steep (let's just say CSS and SEO were not in my vocabulary before!), but I was determined. Not only did I transform my own business, but I created two Skool communities to teach others what I learned. Because success is sweeter when it's shared.
